alcoholism, and now dying at a pretty young age.

It’s tough not to feel sad upon hearing of his early demise. We didn’t know him personally, of course, but we knew of him. The riots that his maniacally-vicious beatings inspired (and the cops who beat him being cleared – I guess that’s what really caused the riots), the cheap jokes based on his “can’t we all just get along together” pleading quote.

Sorry for what you went through, bra, you didn’t deserve it.
