Let’s be clear here, I’ve never been to Europe.

Not because I don’t want to visit, but because, like for so many other Americans, it’s cost-prohibitive (at least until Interrace Today takes off). But there’s always been that nagging question in the back of my cerebral cortex…just how bad is racism there? We don’t know without visiting , ultimately.

And based on this godawful-depressing piece from the wonderful folks at the Toronto Star, immigration and integration just ain’t what we should be “believing for” as the pastors say. Apparently, it’s downright dismal.

Is this piece close to the actual “on the ground” truth?
